Job Summary

Ultrasonographer, General, Riverhead, NY. The role performs general obstetric and vascular ultrasound examinations in a trauma level III, stroke center environment. The position requires American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in obstetrics and gynecology, an additional certification, and at least two years of experience.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, four days per week, including every other weekend and holiday; 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in obstetrics and gynecology; one additional certification; general obstetric and vascular ultrasound experience; at least two years of experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Ultrasound services are provided in a 144-bed facility.
  • The clinical setting includes a trauma level III designation and stroke center services.
  • The department includes three ultrasound rooms, including two main rooms and one emergency department room.
