Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab Salem, VA. This position supports cardiac catheterization procedures, interventions, ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) cases, and peripheral angiography procedures. The technologist works day shifts in a collaborative procedural environment and participates in rotating call coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures, interventions, ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) cases, peripheral angiography, and interventional procedures.
• Additional Information:
  • Supports cardiac catheterization, interventional, ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), peripheral angiography, and peripheral intervention procedures.
  • May float to electrophysiology and pre-/post-procedure holding areas.
  • Participates in rotating call coverage during weekdays and weekends.
  • Successful candidates demonstrate an adaptable, collaborative, and helpful approach.
