Job Summary

Xray Technologist, Xray Technologist, supports diagnostic imaging operations in an acute care setting. The role performs general radiography, operating room, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging studies while supporting a high-volume department averaging approximately 60 studies per day. The position requires proficiency across assigned modalities and collaboration within a three-room imaging department.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Required Qualifications:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • State computed tomography (CT) license
  • COVID-19 vaccination series consisting of three doses
  • At least 1 year of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience and broader experience across multiple imaging modalities.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs general radiography, operating room, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging studies.
  • Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
  • Holidays rotate with permanent staff.
  • No call or standby requirement is indicated.
  • Intravenous starts are not required.
  • Department orientation includes one day of human resources orientation, followed by training and shadowing based on the technologists familiarity with the computer system.
  • Scrubs are not provided; purple tops and eggplant pants are required.
