Job Summary

Ultrasonographer Echo in San Antonio, Texas, performs independent echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures in a healthcare setting. The position supports echo, stress echo, and transesophageal echocardiography services while collaborating as a team member and following clinical and departmental guidelines.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM3:30 PM; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Certified in the state of Texas through ARDMS or RCIS.
  • Ability to perform complete echocardiograms independently.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
  • Knowledge of three-dimensional (3D) imaging.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Procedures include echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiography.
  • Team-oriented approach and strong patient-care skills are expected.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to clinical dress and personal presentation guidelines are required.
  • Clean, neat hair and neatly trimmed facial hair are required.
  • Visible piercings other than ear piercings are prohibited.
  • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
