Job Summary

Radiation Therapist Radiation Therapy. This acute-care role provides radiation therapy services, imaging, treatment delivery, and related clinical duties in a Level I trauma setting. The position supports weekday daytime operations and requires experience in radiation oncology.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of radiation oncology experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
  • Certified Radiation Therapist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (T).
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
  • Active license required for submission.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides all standard radiation therapy duties and imaging procedures.
  • Performs external beam radiation therapy, internal radiation therapy, brachytherapy, three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, stereotactic radiation therapy, and volumetric modulated arc therapy.
  • Expected patient volume is approximately 1822 patients per day.
  • Uses electronic medical record systems for clinical documentation.
  • Orientation requirements may vary by department, and clinicians must be in the assigned state during orientation week.
