Description

Shift:
Monday- Thursday 9pm-7:30am Work Experience:

Perform laboratory tests accurately and in a timely fashion following established guidelines and physician orders. Report all tests in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner in compliance with documented laboratory procedures timely.

· Inform appropriate personnel of department supply needs ensuring uninterrupted testing.

· Perform, record and analyze QC data in order to make judgments concerning the results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.

· Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks, cleaning work area, and monitoring temperatures in accordance with regulatory agencies and organizational policies.

· Recognize and troubleshoot malfunctions of advanced technological equipment and initiates corrective action.

Education:
Associates degree in Medical Technology, a related field in science License:
ASCP, or AMT Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
