The Cath Lab unit features 7 holding beds and operates with a focus on patient experience and care. Self-scheduling is available, with staff expected to cover STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days each month.

• Unit Staffing Description: Support from unit secretaries and techs
• Type of Equipment: GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation System: MacLab, Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
• Floating Policy: Flexibility within departments

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Cath Lab experience
• Structural Heart procedures
• IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR techniques

Certifications Required:

• ACLS
• BLS

Advanced Skills Needed

• PCI
• PFO
• Impella
• IABP

Procedures Performed on Unit

• TAVR
• PFO Closure
• Atherectomy

• Right/Left Heart Catheterization

Dress Code
