Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Unit Information

Location: Denver, CO

Unit Type: Labor and Delivery

Number of Beds: 29

Staff: 148

Day Shift: 22 RNs, 2-3 CSTs, 1 Charge, 1 Flex
Night Shift: 20 RNs, 1-2 CSTs, 1 Charge, 1 Flex

Patient Ratios: 2:1

Type of Equipment: Centricity and GE monitors

EMR: Meditech / CPN

Qualifications

Must Have:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certifications
Preferred:
- Experience with Meditech
- PACU experience
- Operating Room experience

Typical Procedures Performed

Vaginal and cesarian section deliveries
D&C, Hysterectomy, PP tubal
Cerclage placement and versions
Care for high-risk obstetric patients
