Join a dedicated team in the Cath Lab, where your expertise will make a significant impact on patient care. We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Unit Overview
- Number of Staff: 9 FTE
- Staff Composition: 5 RNs, 2 RCIS, 1 Director
- Type of Equipment: Cath Lab
- Patient Ratios: Not Applicable
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Some Critical Care experience
- Preferred Skills:
- ICU or Cath Lab Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
Typical Procedures
The Cath Lab performs a variety of procedures, including but not limited to:
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Permanent Pacemaker (PPM) Insertion
- Stress Testing
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Port Insertion
Personality Fit
The ideal candidate will be:
- Teamwork-oriented
- Flexible with scheduling
- Able to work 4-5 days per week
