Position Information

We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists for an inpatient rehabilitation unit. This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level 2 Trauma Center with a focus on both acute care and rehabilitation therapies.

Unit Overview

• Location: Centerpoint Medical Center, City, State
• Unit: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Number of Beds: 285 bed Level 2 Trauma Center, 16 bed Inpatient Rehab Unit
• Staff Count: 14 staff members
• Patient Ratios: Acute care 12:1, Rehabilitation 4-5:1
• Type of Equipment: Standard rehabilitation supplies and gym equipment
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Work Schedule

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every 6 weeks, with flexibility on weekdays if working weekends

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in acute care and rehabilitation settings

Typical Responsibilities

• Conducting evaluations and treatments
• Supporting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility
