Registered Nurse (RN) CVICU

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a challenging role in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position is critical in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments, including physical evaluations and patient histories.
• Provide patient education regarding health management and recovery processes.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in accordance with established protocols.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Work Schedule

This position is scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM. Flexibility may be required based on patient needs and unit staffing.

Location

This position is based in Arlington, TX.
