Unit Information

Location: Pearland, TX

• Number of Beds: 5 recovery bays
• Number of Staff: 8 FTE
• Patient Ratios: 1 per procedural room / 5 in recovery
• Type of Equipment: GE/Philips
• EMR: Meditech, MERGE

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will be responsible for:

• Assisting in various cardiac procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, PTA, Stenting, Impella, IABP, Peripheral Angiograms, PPM, ICD, EP studies, and Thrombectomy.
• Providing quality care within a collaborative environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Ability to take call.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills are preferred:

• Experience with IR procedures.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 645 AM - 330 PM
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• On Call: One week of call per month

Scrub Color/Attire: Navy scrubs will be provided.
