Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery (RN)

Unit Information

Unit Name: Labor and Delivery/OBED

Location: Arlington, TX

General Information:

Number of Beds: 23
Patient Ratios: 2:1
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: CPN/Meditech
On-Call Requirement: 1 shift every 4 weeks
Floating Requirement: Within Women's Health - Postpartum/Antepartum

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills:

Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in high-risk Obstetrics Labor and Delivery
Current certifications: NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS

Preferred Skills:

Experience in OB Emergency Department
High risk and high volume experience

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide care to high-risk obstetric patients, which may include:

Administering magnesium and insulin drips
Circulating and scrubbing during surgical procedures
