Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and possess the necessary skills to manage Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments.
• Float between Med Surg and Tele departments as needed.
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner charting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend and holidays. Schedule may vary based on unit needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Recent experience with Cerner charting is mandatory.
• Two or more completed travel assignments are required.
