MRI Technologist

Position Overview

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and patient care standards. This role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and adhering to operational guidelines.

Schedule

• Available shifts: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend requirements: Yes
• Holiday requirements: Required to work any holiday that falls on scheduled work days

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) or ARRT-MR certification (ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology
• Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification required
• Preferred experience with Philips MRI equipment, Epic, and AGFA PACS

Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow complex protocols
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

This position is available in various locations, with operations in the surrounding area of City, State.
