Cardiovascular Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and ensuring patient safety through the use of advanced imaging technologies.

Work Schedule

• Day shift, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• On-call required (6-7 days a month, including one weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing catheterization and special procedures.
• Utilize fluoroscopy and other imaging techniques effectively.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to during all procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent is preferred.
• 1-2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• Active Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice is required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is preferred.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
