Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care to join our team. This is a variable position requiring 36 hours of work per week, with rotating shifts. The successful candidate will initially work the Day Shift while internal transfer processes are completed, with a transition to the Night Shift when finalized. Flexibility is required to accommodate both shifts during this transition period.

Shift Details

• Night Shift hours: 1900 - 0730
• Day Shift hours: 0700 - 1930

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery required.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor as per AH policy is required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor as per AH policy is required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor as per AH policy is required.
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course completion is required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting, implementing nursing practices that adhere to established protocols, and supporting new families during their experience in the LDRP model.
