Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work primarily in the Cardiac Cath Lab, performing various cardiovascular procedures with proficiency and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct invasive cardiovascular procedures in a meticulous and efficient manner.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of necessary equipment and materials.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic EMR system.
- Participate in departmental meetings and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Shift Details
- Shift Type: 4x10s (7 AM - 5 PM)
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Unit Information
The Cardiac Cath Lab features 11 labs and handles a wide variety of cases, including electrophysiology (EP) and catheterization. The unit manages approximately 40 to 50 cases each day and supports a 719-bed Level I Trauma facility.
On-Call Requirements
The selected candidate will be required to be on call for a minimum of three days per month, with expectations of four to five call shifts monthly, including one weekend per month.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via CCI.
