Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients. This position involves working in an acute care facility, helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
Shift Details
- Shift Type: 10-hour Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing therapy and support to patients to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Speech Therapy license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- COVID vaccination is mandatory for this position.
