Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). This role requires a skilled professional who is capable of providing exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the SICU.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a critical care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Schedule
This position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
