Job Description
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in urgent and emergent situations. This position is vital in delivering fast-paced medical assistance and emergency interventions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions and determine necessary actions for care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical staff.
- Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the emergency department.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
