Description
Position Overview
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Intermediate Care (IMC) for a 13-week contract. The role requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in an intermediate care unit.
- Monitor patient health and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and preventative care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
