Special Procedures Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment similar to an IR Tech and requires expertise in Cath Lab procedures. The candidate must possess experience in a variety of technical operations, be able to handle call duties, and work flexible shifts.

Shift Requirements

• Variable shifts available: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Call duties: After hours, every other weekend, and two weeknights per week

Education and Work Experience

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience: Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent: Preferred
• Three years of technical experience: Preferred
• Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Preferred
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification: Required
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification: Required
• Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI): Required
