Special Procedures Technologist

Job Summary

This role involves working within a technical capacity, primarily in a Cath Lab environment. The position requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services. The Special Procedures Technologist will be responsible for performing various procedures essential for patient diagnosis and care.

Work Schedule

Day Shift: Choose from one of the following schedules:

• 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

After-hours call required, including every other weekend and two weeknights per week. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.

Education and Work Experience

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (preferred)
• Three years of technical experience (preferred)
• Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist (preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (preferred)
• Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice (required)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor as per policy (required)
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification (required)
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification (required)
• Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (required)

This position is available within multiple locations in the region, specifically in the city and state of your choice.
