Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of patients in our department.
Shift Information
The position requires the following:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Must work all holidays
Patient Care Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage a patient ratio of 6:1 and will be tasked with various duties, including but not limited to:
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement care.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- BLS Certification (AHA or ARC).
- ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing.
- Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Experience working in an MS (Medical Surgical) setting is essential.
Additional Information
The facility has a total of 36 beds and utilizes MedHost as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Scrub color for this position is Royal Blue.
