Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary expertise and clinical experience to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate medical records during procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical instruments.
- Adhere to established protocols and safety standards during surgeries.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in neuro and vascular surgical procedures.
- High rating on skills checklist is required.
- Ability to work flexibly, including on weekends and holidays.
- Previous travel nursing experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in using Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications, and possess the necessary electronics to access these apps.
Work Environment
This position may require the Registered Nurse to be on-call and available to respond to emergencies as needed, ensuring the provision of timely care to patients.
