Job Overview

The Registered Nurse - Special Procedures plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the specialty of interventional radiology. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.

Schedule

This position operates on a schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with variations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in special procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-care instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty of Special Procedures.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Holiday Requirements

Employees in this position must be available to work on 2 major holidays from the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday, either the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Location

This position is located in a facility in the region of the state. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not being considered for this role.
