Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Intermediate Care unit. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a critical care environment.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Holiday Requirement: As needed, with an expectation to assist

Floating Requirements

The nurse may be required to float to the following units:

• 2 East Intermediate Care
• 2 North Medical
• 3 West Post-Surgical
• 3 North Overflow Medical-Surgical
• Negative Air Flow Unit

Experience Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:

• A minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Intermediate Care or Telemetry within a large facility
• Preferred experience in ICU, Medical/Surgical, and familiarity with ventilators and titration drips

Qualifications

The following credentials are mandatory:

• Registered Nurse license in Kansas or a compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification

Immunization Requirements

Applicants must provide documentation for the following immunizations:

• Two-step TB test or blood draw conducted within the last 12 months
• Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months
• TDAP vaccination
