Location: Arlington, TX
Floor: 3 Tower
Building: Tower A
General Information
- Number of Beds: 30
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs (if unit census supports), 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, 1-3 Sitters
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs (if unit census is full), 2 PCTs, 1-3 sitters depending on patient population
- Patient Ratios: 6:1
- Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, bladder scanners
- EMR: Meditech
- Floating Requirement: As per the needs of the hospital
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- BLS Certification
- Med-Surg or acute care experience
Preferred Skills
- Med-Surg/acute care experience
- Previous experience in a similar health care setting
Typical Procedures
- Post-surgical care, including Cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
- Pain management for CIWA patients
