Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients with critical cardiovascular conditions and requires expertise in advanced medical practices.

• Open heart surgery
• Advanced Primary Stroke Center accredited by the Joint Commission
• Accredited Chest Pain Center
• Cancer Care Center accredited by the Commission on Cancer
• Emergency services, including Pediatric ER and express ER

Position Details:

• Department: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care based on established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care needs.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
