Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. This role involves providing specialized care for patients in a Level III NICU setting.

Unit Information

• Location: Riverside, CA
• Beds: 21 (flexible to 37)
• Staffing: 60 personnel
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
• Type of Equipment: Standard NICU equipment
• Electronic Medical Records: Meditech and CPN

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active California license
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of Level III NICU experience
• Proficiency in managing patients from Level I to Level III NICU

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neonate deliveries
• Ability to float to Postpartum when necessary

Typical Duties

• Perform line placement procedures
• Conduct intubations as required
