Unit Information
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Unit Type: Neuro/Ortho
- Number of Beds: 25
- Number of Staff: 40+
- Patient Ratios: 6:1, sometimes 5:1
- Type of Equipment: Baxter IV Pumps, KCI wound vacs, SCD pumps
- Electronic Medical Records: Meditech
Shift Information
Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM (Night Shift) for 13 weeks.
Qualifications
Required Skills: Candidates must possess the following certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Preferred Skills: Candidates with the following experience will be prioritized:
- Meditech experience
- Telemetry experience
Typical Duties
Additionally, applicants should be proficient in the following:
- Managing chest tubes
- Administering non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
- Managing weight-based heparin drips
