Description
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 12-week travel contract. The position entails working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing critical care in a fast-paced environment.
Unit Information
Location: San Jose, CA
- Number of Beds: 36
- Number of Staff: 113
- Patient Ratios: 4:1, with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1
- Type of Equipment: Phillips
- EMR: Meditech
Candidate Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting
- Preferred Skills:
- Charge nurse experience
- Prior travel or interim experience in California
- Certifications:
- PALS
- ACLS
- BLS
Work Expectations
- Work every other weekend
- Must be a team player
Dress Code
Scrubs are required; no specific color restrictions.
Additional Information
Candidates will not be required to float to other areas.
