Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking two experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN shifts on weekends. The position requires a commitment to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in a residential behavioral health setting.

Shift and Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Schedule: Weekends Only (Saturday and Sunday)
Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess the needs of youth in residential care.
Administer medications and ensure proper documentation.
Collaborate with physicians during rounds on patient care.
Assist with the implementation of physical or chemical restraints as necessary, along with required documentation.

Qualifications

Experience: 1-2 years of behavioral health experience, especially with pediatric patients.
Certifications/Licenses:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification – can be obtained at the facility if not currently held
- Active RN license in Arkansas or a multistate license
