We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a MedSurg unit. This role requires a commitment to quality healthcare, effective teamwork, and flexibility to adapt to various situations within the unit.

Unit Information

• Location: City, State
• Number of Beds: 15
• Staff Composition:
  • Day Shift: 3 RNs, 1 PCT
  • Night Shift: 3 RNs, 1 PCT
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Primary Equipment: Alaris Pump
• Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: Yes

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Preferred Skills:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Rhythm Interpretation

Key Procedures Performed on the Unit

• Hip/Knee Replacement
• Colectomy
