Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in the MedSurg unit. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the MedSurg unit.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license.
- BLS certification is required.
- At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. There is no on-call requirement associated with this position.
