Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Step Down Float Pool. This position requires a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, floating between multiple units including medical floors, step down, ICU, and surgical/oncology departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in step down and ICU settings.
• Ensure safe and effective care by monitoring patient conditions and treatment responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Float flexibly between different units as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Step Down unit; ICU experience is preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to various patient care needs in different unit settings.
• Proficient in the use of Epic EMR or similar systems.

Location

This position is available in City, State, with opportunities to float between multiple locations within the region.
