Job Details

Shift Notes: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM - 8 PM, no weekends. On-call only on holidays.

Unit Notes: Limited number of procedures with emphasis on quality and self-sufficiency. Attention to detail is a must. The department operates as a critical access facility.

Department and Equipment Information

• Department: Radiology - MRI
• Average Number of Scans/Studies per Day: 5
• Common Imaging/Studies Performed: MRA, MRI for brain, spine, pelvis, knees, hips, shoulders, and extremities. Please note, cardiac procedures and pacemakers are not included.
• Department Equipment: Toshiba Vantage 1.5T
• Radiology Supervisor: Adrienne Turner, Manager
• EMR/PACS System: EPIC, McKesson PACS

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Administer contrast agents and start IVs as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation through electronic systems.

Work Environment

The position primarily involves working independently in a controlled and less busy environment, making it ideal for self-starters who thrive on responsibility and accountability.

Schedule and On-call Requirements

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM - 8 PM

On-call Requirements: Limited to holiday rotations with two other technologists.

Scrubs are not provided; any clean and presentable scrub type is acceptable.
