Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week with a shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 32 Main ER, 10 FSED, 12 FSED
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Staffing Description: Team nursing, including Paramedics, EMTs, and a Dedicated Unit Secretary
- Documentation System: Epic
- Floating Policy: None except between the main ER and FSEDs
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and central line placement.
- Monitor and assess patients, providing appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Qualifications
- Current RN License required.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC or ENPC.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Dress Code
Caribbean Blue scrubs are required.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
