Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, specializing in cardiovascular care. The ideal candidate will possess open heart recovery training and have experience with balloon pump and open heart procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from open heart surgeries.
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs, responding promptly to any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and thoroughly using Epic systems.

Shift Availability

This position is available for night shifts, with options for either 36 or 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
