Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in performing mammography studies and assisting with stereotactic biopsies. This role involves working primarily during regular business hours and may require floating among various units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tomo mammography studies and assist radiologists during stereotactic biopsies.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Manage and operate imaging equipment effectively, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results in the electronic medical records system.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- 200 mammograms performed in the past 2 years.
- BLS Certification and Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M) Verification required.
- Experience with Cerner and Merge PACS systems is necessary.
Working Conditions
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Teal scrubs are required while on duty.
- Average of 15 cases per day.
