Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team in a cardiovascular operating room setting. This position involves working collaboratively within a surgery team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Work Schedule: 0630 to 1700, with additional call and weekend requirements
• Call Requirement: Must take at least 10 call shifts in a 6-week schedule

• Unit Type: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Number of Surgical Suites: 2
• Average Cases per Day: 4
• Common Procedures: CABG, TAVR, minimally invasive and open valve replacements

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cardiac surgery
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS Certification
  • Crisis Protocol Approved
• Scrubbing: Required for this position

Additional Requirements

• Floating Required: May float to the main OR as needed
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Dress Code: Hospital provides scrubs
• COVID Vaccine Requirement: Yes
• Orientation: Unit-specific orientation is provided
