Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting. This is a travel position requiring flexibility to work night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and overall health.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Progressive Care Unit or similar environment.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule
This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Location
This role is located in a facility in City, State. Travel opportunities include multiple locations within the region.
