Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a telemetry unit specializing in emergency department holds. This position is for a 13-week contract, working the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a telemetry unit or equivalent setting.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
