Description

OB/L&D Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated OB/L&D Nurse to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will work 3-4 shifts per week and will have a passion for providing quality care in the field of obstetrics and labor & delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal well-being using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
Assist with postpartum and nursery care, if applicable.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on childbirth and postpartum procedures.

Qualifications

Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
Experience in postpartum/nursery care is preferred but not required.
