Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Case Management or Utilization Management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical nursing experience, including comprehensive knowledge in care management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 30+ reviews daily utilizing screening criteria such as Cerner, InterQual, and MCG.
• Facilitate care management and utilization management processes ensuring efficient patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and evaluate patient needs.
• Employ excellent critical thinking and communication skills to enhance patient outcomes.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, consisting of five 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, along with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years recent experience in clinical nursing or a related nursing field, including Utilization Review or Case Management.
• Prior experience in Care Management or Case Management is essential.
• Proficiency in utilizing Cerner, InterQual, and MCG screening criteria is required.
• Strong computer skills are necessary for effective job performance.
• Certification as an Accredited Case Manager (ACM) or Certified Case Manager (CCM) is advantageous.

Licensure

Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing is required.
