Position Overview

This contract position is for an experienced Operating Room Nurse (RN) to support various surgical teams. The RN will work in a dynamic operating room environment and be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an operating room setting.
• Previous experience in vascular surgeries, particularly Plastics Reconstructive cases such as DIEP Flaps or microsurgery.
• Experience with robotic surgical procedures in various specialties including bariatric, gynecological, general, and colorectal surgery.
• Background in orthopedics focusing on total joint replacements is highly desirable.
• Current RN licensure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room before procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure successful patient outcomes.
• Participate in maintaining a sterile environment and managing surgical instruments.
• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and families.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability to work from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional details regarding the contract duration can be discussed during the interview process.

This position is based in the operating room of a facility located in Dallas, TX.
