Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Missouri
- Pharmacist (1 year of experience)
- Pharmacist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
Schedule / Coverage
- Weekend hours as required by the facility
- Call as required by the facility
- Float as required by the facility
Role Details
- Primary responsibility is central pharmacy workflow and product verification
- Duties include checking medications, kits, crash carts, prepack items, IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, and code carts
- Oversees workflow of surrounding pharmacy technicians
Training
- Training is expected to last 2–3 weeks, depending on pharmacist capability
Additional Notes
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted
- EPIC is used for dispense prep and medication verification
