SLP Home Health
Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in Sarasota, Florida
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–17:00
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Locals approved at the same rate
Role Details
- Home health speech-language pathology role
- Home skilled visits: 6–8 per day
- Minimum of 6 points per day at manager’s discretion, may increase by 1 point
- Covers Manatee County and South Hillsborough territories
- Must be willing to travel across multiple areas
- Patient population: acute/chronic adolescent through geriatric
- Skilled home care for Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients
- 1–2 weekends per contract
- Self-scheduled visits and hours based on home care office needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Florida
- Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
- Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- CCC-SLP
- Experience in a Home Health setting
- Driver's License
- Dysphasia management
- Aural rehabilitation
- Functional maintenance programs
- Evaluation tools (BIMS, Depression Screening, Oral Peripheral Exam)
