Operating Room
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Huntington, West Virginia
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:15
- 36 hours per week
- No call
- Weekends available; work every other weekend

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in West Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Operating Room experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Ability to function in multiple areas, including CVT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, and ENT
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Transcript or diploma required
- Initial physical required
- TB screening questionnaire required
- Drug screen required within 30 days of start and updated annually
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- State license verification required
- Background check required
- ACLS required as applicable
- PALS required as applicable
- NRP required as applicable
- TNCC required as applicable
- Competency exam required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable

- Scrub preferred
Additional Notes
- Medical and religious flu exemptions are acceptable
- COVID seasonal vaccine required; initial series preferred
- TDAP required within 10 years
- Hepatitis B surface antibody and antigen titer required within 6 months, along with vaccination series documentation or declination
- Hepatitis A total antibody required within 6 months
- Hepatitis C antibody required within 6 months
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required via titer or vaccination, with positive titer required if using titers
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 6 months of start
- References and employment application/resume are required
